Privacy Information for Applicants

  • The following text is intended to provide you with information regarding the data processed in connection with your application. The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") is the Klopotek group company named in the relevant job advertisement. You can contact our data protection officer via privacy(at)klopotek.de.

  • We use the personal data that you provide to us in the course of the application process (e.g. in letters, curriculum vitae, certificates, application forms, questionnaires, and interviews) in accordance with section 26(1)(1) Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) to conduct the application process ("hiring decisions").

  • If an employment relationship is not established, we delete your data immediately after the conclusion of the application process. The application process is concluded when the time limit has expired within which claims resulting from a violation of the General Act on Equal Treatment (Allgemeine Gleichbehandlungsgesetz - AGG) can be expected (typically five months after the rejection is sent if no claim under section 15(4) AGG is received).

  • If necessary, we will engage group companies as group-internal processors that carry out processing exclusively on our behalf and are not permitted to process data for their own purposes. Where necessary, employees of Klopotek group companies will be involved in the application and selection process and, in this context, receive the personal information related to your application. The legal basis for this transfer is our legitimate interest within the meaning of art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

  • If the relevant legal requirements are met, you have the right to be informed under art. 15 GDPR, the right to rectification under art. 16 GDPR, the right to erasure under art. 17 GDPR, the right to restrict processing under art. 18 GDPR, the right to object under art. 21 GDPR, and the right to data portability under art. 20 GDPR. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under art. 77 GDPR.

  • You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of your personal data on the basis of art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (art. 21(1) GDPR).
