Project Management

Project Management & consulting on the implementation of Klopotek software

In projects with our regional, globally acting expert teams, you can expect an agile approach to software development. In so doing, we can ensure to find solutions to your individual requirements in close cooperation with you.

To ensure maximum efficiency, we'll make use of best practice processes.

For achieving a strict activity management during the implementation process, our joint teams will use our project module JIRA. 'Stand-ups' at regular intervals help to make sure that we can all act in a well-coordinated, transparent way.

Partially implementing small STREAM apps for enabling an early and step-by-step 'onboarding' in the system is possible as early as after the start of the project.

Via the Klopotek Academy, you can access dedicated training videos with experts in their field.

Key features and benefits

Why is our specific way of designing user-centric software exceptionally suitable for covering a broad range of requirements of the people working with our applications? And how can we ensure that our customers will get true workflow support to harmonize their specific processes the best possible way? Why do we believe in ‘sprints’ and focusing on visual elements and user stories?

In our projects, we apply and truly believe in a new, user-focused way of project management: 'Visual Requirements Engineering'. This approach is, in our opinion, the best selection for focusing on the needs of the people who will work with the software.

In joint workshops and 'sprint' meetings, our teams work in an agile way, very closely to the teams of the publisher and, thus, the end-users. From the beginning of a project, you can rely on a common language for all specialists involved to align the business and technology requirements for creating the desired overall user experience of the application.

As visualization is an important element of project progress, you can expect to see our ideas and developments very early in the process on mock-ups, sketches, and drafts resulting in prototypes as early as possible, so that everybody understands what has been achieved and what is still to be done.

The visual elements are put in focus, as ‘what you see’ is a very clear and powerful language to ensure that everybody understands the requirements and processes. Graphical elements of our prototypes that are presented at workshops – which happen frequently at a regular basis and are therefore called ‘sprint meetings’ – include buttons, pop-ups, color elements, traffic light alerts, and other components to highlight points of interaction and workflow steps.

Key features and benefits

  • Development work for Cloud-based STREAM apps is all about the user

  • ‘Sprints’: meetings take place every 14 days to make sure that all teams act in a well-coordinated, transparent way

  • Changes to prototypes are done as quickly as possible, from one 'sprint' to the following

  • Continuous communication & exchange of ideas about a large number of user stories to ensure that the final product will be suitable to support various user groups

  • Joint use of our project module JIRA for achieving a transparent & reliable activity management

  • ‘Visual Requirements Engineering’: strong focus on visual elements in projects to ensure that all specialists from different fields involved ‘speak the same language’

  • Enabled by this shared and transparent development cycle, the future users of the final product already know it when the go live happens; a smooth transition from testing to working productively (and in an enjoyable way) can be achieved
